Institute of Medicine (IOM) under (TU)

Universities in Nepal – Tribhuvan University Institute of Medicine (IOM) is established in 1972 under Tribhuvan University with the mandate and the responsibility of training all the categories of health-related human resources to fulfill the according to the need of the country. Main goal of starting is to produce health-related human resources for fulfil need of country. Produce trainee on the field of health. Research for more possibilities in the field of human health of country.  Within the starting first decade of its establishment IOM, it extended into 22 campuses across the country. 

Currently it has 7 constituent campuses, 1 central department, 15 affiliated colleges and 3 tertiary level teaching hospitals.
